My TCX2 values are weird

Problem

The values being read by the TCX2 are obviously wrong or incorrect. The NEX controller is definitely communicating with the TCX2.

Solution

  1. Ensure these values are still being read within the last 10 or 15 minutes, whilst everything is powered up and installed correctly. Sometimes weird values might be read before everything is finished being set up.

  2. Identify which sensor(s) are giving a weird value, and which input this corresponds to on the TCX2.
  3. Check that the wiring is tight at both ends - both into the TCX2's inputs and at the sensors terminals (if applicable).
  4. Check that no changes have been made to the TCX2's programming or wiring. If changes have been made, this may require different wiring and/or different jumper settings on the bottom of the controller. Check the wiring diagram included with the portable for the NEX controller, and try to determine if the jumpers are definitely set as specified on the wiring diagram.
  5. Take note of the NEX serial number on the box. Contact NEX Support and quote this serial number. The support agents will advise how to progress with fixing this issue.
